Tour Details

Sticky Waterfall Tour Chiang Mai. Located in Sri Lanna National Park just about 50 minutes drive from Chiang Mai city. The waterfall has special feature allow you to climb directly up the rocks into the oncoming cascading water. It comes from a mineral spring so the water is present year-round. There are forest creatures such as butterflies, crabs, and water bugs. Trip highlights: Visit the cave, the sacred spring, the Sticky Waterfall, and enjoy authentic Thai lunch, fresh cut fruits, and Thai style snack.

About Your Host

Hi. I’m Annie. Born and raised in Bangkok. I graduated from Assumption University BA Sci & Tech in Information Technology. I’ve been living in Chiang Mai for 11 years and this city is my home now. I like martial arts, sports, swimming, cooking, gardening and I find peace and happiness in nature and animals. I’ve been hosting the Sticky Waterfall Tour since June 2018. Love it! In November 2018, I quit my full-time careers in hotel and tourism industry to travel the world. I’m grateful and fortunate enough to travel to countries I’ve always dreamed of visiting. Thank you so much for giving me an opportunity to be your host. I’m exciting to meet you and take you to see the Sticky Waterfall.

Pick up & drop off at your hotel (in and around the square area). If you are outside the pick up area, we meet at Maya Lifestyle Mall (main entrance door) at 8 AM.

What To Wear

Recommended: Work Out Clothes, Shirt & Shorts, Swimsuit (Avoid G String, Thong). Please wear your bathing suit under your clothes.
Wear Any Shoes (Sport Shoes, Sandals, or Slippers). Please bring water shoes if you have your own. Recommended: Wear slippers or sandals to the tour. Because you will have to walk barefoot or use the water shoes I provide inside the waterfall. But of course you can wear sport shoes if you don't mind them get wet

What We'll Do

You’ll visit the cave and learn the history about the area, then you will go see the sacred spring (the area usually visited by religious locals who believe in the mysterious healing benefits of the water), and after that we’ll go explore and walk on the sticky waterfall. After a lot of walking we change our clothes and we go eat lunch at a local restaurant. Then we head back to the main city.

Itinerary

07.15 AM - 08.00 AMPick Up Time

We’ll pick you up at your hotel in and around the old city (the square area on the map)

08.30 AM10 minutes break at the gas station

We will stop at the gas station for restroom or coffee for about 10 minutes

09.15 AMArrive at the cave

We will take a short walk (using the stairs) to visit the cave and learn a little bit history about the Sticky Waterfall and the area

09.30 AMVisit the sacred spring and the spirit house

We will take a short walk to visit the sacred spring and the spirit house. Over here, you will learn a history about this sacred spring.

09.45 AMGo Explore The Sticky Waterfall!

We will start walking around the area, check out the view point, then start climbing down to explore the Sticky Waterfall!

11.45 AMChange Our Clothes & Head To The Restaurant For Lunch

After a lot of walking inside the waterfall, we go change our clothes and leave the park to go eat lunch at the restaurant.

13.00 PMHead Back To The Main City

We head back to the main city. It takes about 1 hour and you should be back at your hotel not later than 14.30 PM
